In the early 1980's, a company named AdaptTech started in Davis. John worked for AdaptTech for a few months in early 1983. AdaptTech decided to abandon the force sensing technology so John and Robert bought AdaptTech. John Ramming and his brother Robert, started JR3, Inc. in October 1983. In 1992, John bought out his brother and has run the company since then. John has an engineering background and has three patents registered with the United States Patent Office.
